Strategy — Federation of the Americas

Federation of the Americas

Opening (rounds 1–10)

Leverage long coastlines: early naval scouting and feints force rivals to spend AP in the wrong corridors. Secure one or two safe harbours and trunk roads toward the capital. Do not bankrupt the treasury on hulls without follow-on infantry—ships alone do not hold cities.

Mid-game (rounds 10–25)

Alternate coastal feints with real landings in secondary theatres. Fund the double front with port income and trunk roads; otherwise logistics collapse. Watch stability—long wars without garrisons tax income hard.

Late game (25+)

Late game is about chokepoints and rapid redeploys. For military wins, strike partially integrated cities to stall enemy timers. For economic wins, clean networks and city tiers beat one super-unit stack.

Counter-factions

Strong against isolated continental empires (Europe without sea control, parts of Eurasia). Weak into a mirror naval race with the Pacific Union and against African early cavalry surges on dry maps.
